Stude orgs answer GC’s SOAE call
Despite the short attendance of student organizations and delegates in the GC 4th Student Organization Awards of Excellence (SOAE), the awarding ceremony proceeded in citing its outstanding student organizations and student-leaders in service for A.Y. 2024-2025 at GC Function Hall, yesterday.
The 4th SOAE awarded, in no particular order, its recipients of:
Top 3 Outstanding Student Organization | Interactive Organization of Natural Sciences (IONS), League of Tourism Students of the Philippines (LTSP) – Gordon College Chapter, and Samahang Filipino (SamFil)
Top 3 Outstanding Student Organization Adviser | Jehan B. Doblado, Kristoffer Paul C. Obispo, and Mychale Williams
Top 3 Outstanding Community Extension Program | CHTM Student Council, Interactive Organization of Natural Sciences (IONS), and Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Araling Panlipunan
Meanwhile, Nicolas Milton Ching earned the Servant Student Leader of the Year while Klaudtrev Hanrick Payumo merited Rookie Student Servant of the Year. Jannae Mae De Jesus received the Student Organization Presidential Award and Sophia Joleen Evangelista with Outstanding Student Extensionist Award.
And in no particular order, this year’s Top 10 Outstanding Student Leaders were:

Moreover, LTSP-GC Adviser Mychale Williams won the Student Organization Adviser of the Year.
The CHTM Student Council came out once more as the Student Council of the Year among others while IONS, after bagging two other awards earlier, also flexed on its Spirit of Service Award plaque while LTSP nagged the Student Organization of the Year title.
This ceremony is still in line with the celebration of the 26th Founding Anniversary of the institution.
