BREAKING NEWS: A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit the South China Sea—42km from Calatagan, Batangas today June 15, 2023

Olongapo City experienced a 5 to 10 seconds of heavy shaking—forcing the students, visitors, and employees inside the Gordon College building to evacuate to the East Tapinac Oval Track.

The College Administrators eventually prompted everyone to leave the college grounds following the announcement of the cancelation of all activities and transactions inside Gordon College.

The building is currently being inspected for any damages caused by the said earthquake.

Olongapo City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (OC-DRRMO) lines are open for any report or incident as result of the earthquake.
