THE FOREFRONT WINS BIG AT 5TH AOCPA
SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Forefront, the official student publication of Gordon College, garnered five awards at the 5th Assumption Outstanding Campus Press Awards (AOCPA) held at the University of the Assumption on January 27, 2025.
Thirty publications across Luzon participated in the competition, submitting a total of 278 entries according to Regina, the official student publication of the University of the Assumption.
The Forefront’s award-winning staff members are:
Patrisha Marie Pineda – 4th Most Outstanding Investigative Journalist
John Carlo Bermudez – 8th Most Outstanding Literary Writer
Stephanie Estrella – 8th Most Outstanding Opinion Writer
Lance Isaac Leon – 9th Most Outstanding Editorial Cartoonist
John Patrick Mateo – 10th Most Outstanding Feature Writer
The conference is an annual iteration of UA’s Regina in search for the most outstanding campus journalists in different categories across Luzon.
