The GC CESU, Academic Affairs, and CEAS immersion instructors collaborated successfully to conduct a 3-day training for various CEAS academic programs. Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano played a pivotal role as the resource trainer, contributing to the training’s success. The training drew on the participation of a diverse group of student facilitators from ten programs within the College of Education, Arts, and Sciences. Specifically, 3rd-year students from BSEd (Mathematics, Science, English, Filipino, and Social Studies) and other programs like BPEd, BEEd, BCAEd, BECEd, and BAComm actively took part in the training. This training aligned with the goals of the MRP’s Reading Literacy Program for non-readers and out-of-school youth.
