GC’s Denise Mendoza Secures Impressive 2nd Place Victory in Tourism Quiz Challenge
Denise Mendoza, a dedicated 4th-year Tourism Management student at Gordon College, showcased her expertise by clinching 2nd place in the highly competitive “Tourism Quiz Challenge” held on September 26th at Ayala Malls Harbor Point.
This event was part of the grand celebration of World Tourism Day 2023, revolving around the theme “Tourism & Green Investment,” and organized by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) as part of National Tourism Week 2023.
The competition brought together talented students from various schools around Region 3, with the enticing prize of 10,000 pesos reserved for the triumphant participant.
Gordon College had two standout representatives, Denise Paola Erin R. Mendoza, a 4th-year student, and Mark Louis Macachor, a 3rd-year student, both are from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. Their journey to success was expertly guided by Ma’am Lizette Ann Sia, their dedicated program coordinator.
The title of the competition went to Marione Kyle W. Garcia from Bataan Peninsula State University, with France Erriele M. Sawi from Philippine Women’s University CDCEC Bataan securing third place.
