Fourteen elementary and fifty-four secondary education graduates from Gordon College’s (GC) College of Education, Arts, and Sciences (CEAS) finally achieve their sought-after Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) titles after passing the March 2026 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) released today, May 12.
Out of 16 BLEPT takers in the elementary level, 14 are now board-certified professional teachers, bringing GC’s passing rate to 87.50% against a 56.03% national passing rate.
Meanwhile, out of 62 takers in the secondary level, 54 have finally claimed their three-letter titles, bringing GC’s passing rate to 87.10% against a 56.10% national passing rate.
Dates for the oathtaking ceremony to induct new professional teachers are yet to be announced as of writing.
