BLEPT 2025 Yields 200 New GC-Produced Professional Teachers

The College of Education, Arts, and Sciences (CEAS) beams with pride as it yields 39 Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) for the Elementary level and 161 new LPTs for the Secondary level at this year’s Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT)

Gordon College (GC) once again surpassed the national passing rates in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) conducted on September 21 and November 30, 2025.

For the Elementary Level, 39 out of 49 Gordon College examinees passed the LEPT, resulting in a passing rate of 79.59% against a national passing rate of 51.04%.

Meanwhile, for the Secondary Level, 161 out of 177 Gordon College examinees passed the LEPT, posting an overall passing rate of 90.96%, with 50% of second-takers also passing.

Overall, 76,696 out of 122,528 examinees nationwide passed the September–November 2025 BLEPT, representing a national passing rate of 65.04% for the secondary level.

Notably, the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) was rescheduled in Regions I, II and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) due to inclement weather.
