GORDON COLLEGE – Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation’s (ALCU-COA) three-day evaluation concluded with an Exit Conference yesterday, April 5, 2024.
The last day began with ALCU-COA Accreditors conducted Classroom Observation while others finalized the findings and recommendations.
Furthermore, the last evaluation day continued as Rev. Fr. Roque Villanueva led a holy mass and prayers for the institution.
A procession ceremony dedicated for the arrival of the 13 accreditors accompanied by the college officials, the participants welcomed them by a warm greetings and applause.
To formally start the conference, Prof. Arlida M. Pame, College President, gave her welcome remarks to the faculty members, college personnels, guests and students.
The program continued with the sharing of overall impressions for the 13 programs and facilities offered by the Gordon College initiated by Prof. Alain Anuevo, ALCU-COA Supervising Technical Assistant.
In line with this, different program coordinators shared their responses from some recommendations and followed by the special performances from Pase Ballo and Pase Voci.
Moreover, the conference ended with the presentation of certificates and tokens for the Accreditation Team and a heartwarming speech by Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano, College Administrator, as she went emotional in her closing remarks.
“Pahinga muna po kami (and) we will continue our journey as the Apo Warriors keep on fighting until we reach our mission and vision and leave a legacy for Apo ni Apo to become one of the university in Olongapo (City),” the college administrator stated.
Overall, the general results for all accredited areas and programs are still confidential. Stay tuned for the release of the final results.
