Campus journalists from The Forefront (TF), the official student publication unit of Gordon College, garnered accolades at the 23rd Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC) held at Palm Cabanas Resort, Arayat, Pampanga last February 5-7.
Out of 38 participating student publications and 541 delegates across Region 3, TF secured the following awards:

In addition to his writing recognition, Jp Mateo, TF’s Managing Editor, was elected as the Olongapo City Division Coordinator for the Young Journalists Association of Region 3 (YJAR3).
Furthermore, the following campus journalists also represented the publication unit in different categories at the press conference: Bealyn Demanalata, Editor-in-Chief; John Carlo Bermudez, Associate Editor; I-man Anthonie Klay Garcia, Circulations Manager; Jessica Dimatulac, Head of Layout Artists; Keane Rafael Abdon, Sports Editor; Carlos Agustin, News Editor; Ian Jay Gonato, Editorial Cartoonist; and Kana Maye Dueñas, Features Editor.
This April, the LHEPC qualifiers will represent The Forefront and Region 3 at the 20th Luzon Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) in Lucban, Quezon.
