TAPINAC SPORTS COMPLEX – Ma. Francesca Simone Singson, student from Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), defended the crown to the College of Allied Health Studies (CAHS) as she became the Ms. Gordon College (GC) 2024 last February 21.

According to an interview with The Forefront, she felt very honored and empowered when she realized that she won against eight aspiring Ms. GC candidates in the said competition.

“I feel very honored and empowered kasi finally po mayroon na po akong posisyon to empower other people and influence them,” she stated.

Furthermore, she quoted that she had concluded that the question in the Q&A portion was fooling her but standing still from what she believed and advocated made her a queen.

“Sabi ko ay inuuto ako nito so by the second question nag iisip na ako ng sagot, bakit ako papayag na hindi nila suportahan ang aking advocacy? So by the said question meron na po akong sagot nun,” the Ms. GC 2024 revealed.

Moreover, the BSN student also expressed her experiences with her co-female and male candidates during their pageant journey.

“Nagkaroon ako ng mga new friends talaga, no competition sa amin and all support, that is why I love women and not just the female (candidates) but also the male (candidates), no toxicity at all,” the CAHS representative discussed.

Meanwhile, she gave her gratitude to all who supported her along with her promise to be a great role model to the GCians.

“Salamat po sa pagsuporta, salamat po sa inyong lahat maasahan niyo po ako as a great role model,” the new GC Queen insisted.

On the other hand, Singson will also represent the institution at the upcoming Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) 2024.
