A battlefield ignited as fierce gamers from different departments—Dream High Esports, Leash Esports, Si Vanryc ang Mayor, and Software Gingineers—clashed in the highly anticipated Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Tournament yesterday, February 25, in the Gordon College Function Hall.
The tournament started with an intense first bracket match between Dream High and Leash, marking the start of the drafting phase, followed by another high-stakes battle between Si Vanryc ang Mayor and Software Gingineers in another bracket—showcasing their skills, teamwork, and strategies, aiming for victory in this action-packed esports showdown.
As the matches unfolded, Dream High Esports triumphed in the first bracket, while Software Gingineers secured victory in the second bracket, setting the stage for an electrifying finals showdown.
Meanwhile, Leash Esports and Si Vanryc ang Mayor battled in a best-of-three series for third place.
The crowd inside the hall struggled to contain their excitement as the intense best-of-three battle for third match unfolded, Si Vanryc ang Mayor emerging victorious.
As the sun set in the west, the tournament reached its climax with the air buzzing with adrenaline as Dream High Esports and Software Gingineers faced off in the final battle for the championship.
Both teams delivered an extraordinary performance, fueled by passion and determination, with only one goal in mind—the championship title. With every strategic play and well-coordinated attack, the competition grew fiercer.
However, as time ticked away,
Dream High Esports dominated both rounds, securing the championship title and earning the honor of representing Gordon College in the upcoming Local Colleges and Universities Cultural and Sports Association (LCUCSA) – Region III MLBB Tournament in April 2025.
Additionally, Dream High Esports is no stranger to success. The team previously secured a bronze medal in the 13th LCUAA National Games and was crowned SIKLAB champions, proudly representing the CCS Phoenixes.
