The eagerly anticipated week-long 14th LCUAA National Games officially kicked off today at the City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM) Sports Complex.

Cheers and applause filled the venue as the opening ceremony began with a parade featuring all 27 participating colleges, each led by their institution’s gold medalists.

Following the parade was the introduction of the LCUAA 2025 representative officers, a doxology by the Sining Tanglawan ng San Jose del Monte Performing Group, the singing of the National Anthem and the San Jose del Monte city hymn, and an energetic dance performance by the San Joseño World Class Talents troupe.

City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida delivered the opening remarks, warmly welcoming delegates to the institution.

Hon. Arturo B. Robes then gave the keynote address, encouraging athletes to build a brighter and more empowered future.

Additionally, Dr. Lora L. Yusi, CHED Region 3 Director IV, gave an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of LCUAA 2025 as a testament to the growth of local universities: “We see scholars who dream larger than themselves.”
