Faculty members from the College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) and the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) with Mr. Joseph Atencio-OIC, Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Unit proudly took part in a three-day Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Training held last August 26–28, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center, Olongapo City. The event was organized by the Olongapo City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) in collaboration with the Department of Education – Olongapo City Division Office.

Throughout the training, participants engaged in interactive and hands-on activities designed to equip educators with the skills to communicate effectively with the Deaf—nurturing a more inclusive, and compassionate learning environment.

This initiative not only strengthened our instructors’ professional competencies but also reaffirmed their dedication to accessibility, diversity, and inclusivity in education—a true reflection of Gordon College’s commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind.
