BAWAL BOBO[NG] DITO, the official entry of The Forefront – Gordon College for the Content Creating Contest of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Gender and Development reeked creativity and authenticity which led to its victory today.
The contest was part of the annual Subic Bay Freeport Zone M.O.V.E – “Men Opposed VAW (Violence Against Women) Everywhere” Campaign in which supports the national quest for a VAW-free Philippines and to establish that everyone has the right to live in a gender-fair and violence-free society.
The Juana Komiks Magazine is the official magazine of the SBMA Gender and Development which includes their programs and activities and the content creation competition aimed to make use of comic strips to help understand stories about Gender and Development advocacies and how it can be addressed through this platform.
Eight members from The Forefront – Gordon College emerged victorious against the Olongapo City National High School who also participated in the contest hosted by the SBMA GAD, the members are as follows:
