On May 14, 2025, Gordon College warmly welcomed delegates from Konyang University, South Korea, as part of an initiative to explore academic collaboration between the two institutions. The delegation was composed of Ms. Youngmi Sohn, Head of the Global Education Innovation Headquarters, and Mr. Dong-Yeon Ko, Team Leader.
The visit aimed to strengthen international ties, particularly in the field of Allied Health Studies, and included a tour of the college’s facilities—classrooms, laboratories, and library—especially in relation to Konyang’s interest in developing a short-term language program.
During the meeting, the delegates expressed their interest in discussing various opportunities for collaboration and confirmed that they are currently reviewing the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Both institutions expressed optimism for a sustainable and meaningful partnership that supports global academic engagement and student development.
