The annual GC FUNdation RUN marked the start of Gordon College’s 27th Founding Anniversary, held on February 22, 2026, at the East Tapinac Oval Track.
The event gathered members of the Gordon College Faculty Association (GCFAS), administrative staff, students, alumni, and community participants under the pre-foundation day celebration motif, “Color Run.”
The program commenced with the assembly of participants, followed by an opening ceremony that featured welcome messages from Dr. Katherine Yap and Dr. Imelda D.P. Soriano. A Zumba warm-up session, led by administrators, faculty members, and students from the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED), energized attendees ahead of the race.
The run officially started at 6:30 AM as participants filled the track dressed in white shirts and athletic attire, ready to be splashed with vibrant colored powder and water.
More than a display of color and movement, this year’s FUNdation RUN is a colorful display of the institution’s commitment to promoting wellness, unity, and community relations while marking the upcoming foundation celebration with lively and memorable moments. | via Sam Andrea R.
