Gordon College proudly celebrates the Investiture Ceremony of Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano as the new College President, held on March 25, 2025, at SMX Olongapo City.

An investiture ceremony is a formal event that signifies the official installation of a new president into office. It is a time-honored academic tradition that symbolizes the transfer of leadership, trust, and responsibility to the newly appointed leader. This milestone event highlights the institution’s vision for the future and reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and service to the community.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Hon. Rolen C. Paulino Jr., Olongapo City Mayor; Hon. Cristabelle Marie C. Paulino, Olongapo City Councilor; Dr. Lora L. Yusi, CHEDROIII Director; Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, ALCU and ALCUCOA President; and Dr. Richard Daenos, Department of Tourism Region 3 Director. Also in attendance were City Officials, Department Heads, Board of Trustees (BOT) Members, Presidents of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Industry Partners, College Officials, Faculty, Students, Alumni, Administrative Personnel, the family of Dr. Soriano, and other valued stakeholders of Gordon College.

The investiture of Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano marks the beginning of a new era for Gordon College—one that is driven by transformative leadership, strengthened academic programs, and a deeper commitment to student success and community development.
