Event Name    :       Logo Making Contest for 25th Founding Anniversary of Gordon College

Theme             :       GC@25: Sustaining Inclusivity, Living with Values of Equity and Responsiveness

Mechanics

  1. The contest is open to students, alumni, faculty, and non-teaching personnel of Gordon College.
  2. Participants must submit one (1) entry only.
  3. Entries should be submitted in the following formats:
    • .svg file, .png file, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop compatible file
    Can fit to portrait A4 size with minimum size of 1200px by 1200px and 300 dpi resolution
    • Original raw file (.psd – Photosho file, .ai – Illustrator file, or the like)
  4. The logo should not carry the name of the artist/ designer.
  5. The design of the logo should be in accordance with the upcoming 25th Founding Anniversary of Gordon College and with a theme, “GC@25: Sustaining Inclusivity, Living with Values of Equity and Responsiveness”
  6. A brief description or rationale (not more than 100 words) explaining the components of the logo should be included with submission entry.
  7. Participants are required to provide their name, contact number, and email address for communication purposes.
  8. Gordon College reserves the right to disqualify entries with incomplete requirements and non-conformity to the format.
  9. The deadline of submission of entries is on JANUARY 12, 2024 (extended).
  10. All entries must be sent with subject title: “GC-25TH_LOGO-ENTRY_FULLNAME” via email to: info@gordoncollege.edu.ph.

Rules and Regulations

  1. By joining the contest, the participants declare that the logo submitted is their original work, has not been submitted to any other competition, and does not infringe on any third party’s existing copyrights. Gordon College shall not be liable in case of any complaint or dispute that may arise regarding the originality of the submitted work. Any entry duly found to have been substantially copied from, or bears a material resemblance or similarity to, a prior existing design shall automatically be disqualified.

Acknowledgement shall be done after the voting period and the presentation of the final tally of votes.

Judging

The logo-designing contest shall be judged according to the following criteria:

The winning entry will be determined by the judges from College President, Administrator, VPs, Deans, and the Chairman of the SSC. The College President shall head the panel of judges.

The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
