VICTORIOUS KICKS: GC prevails, clinches LCUAA Futsal Championship

𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗡𝗔, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀– 𝙐𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙁𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙀𝘿.

Gordon College (GC) Men’s Futsal Team successfully conquered the court and remained at the top of all teams after defeating Taguig City University (TCU) 8-2, in the championship game of the 12th Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) 2023 National Games Men’s Futsal at Laguna University Multipurpose Hall.

After a series of defense in the tumultuous arena, GC pulverized TCU as Dominador Juanito Jimenez led the team with impressive three goals in the finals game.

“Ginawa ko pong advantage ‘yon (tumult) para makapagpahinga. Binuhos ko po lahat [tapos] doon na po ako bumawi,” Jimenez said.

Furthermore, Lemuel John Mendez assisted Jimenez in a sleek-running game, adding two goals for the team.

Meanwhile, the top scorer of the event and the hailed MVP, Mon Ivan Mendoza, added a goal, making TCU far from winning.

Alexander Nash Alvizo and James Gabertan also braced their powers, contributing their respective goals to make them dominant in the finals game.

In the end, the arena was filled with shouts, cheering for the whole team’s victorious finish in the 12th LCUAA.
