Office of Student Welfare and Services (OSWS) announced in a Facebook Post that no Certificates of Candidacy (COC) have been received for the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Election for Academic Year (A.Y.) 2026-2027, omitting the possibility of a regular election for this school year.
As an intervention proposed by the College Student Electoral Board (CSEB), incumbent officers from positions that remain empty were endorsed by their respective College Deans. The OSWS stated that this will ensure stability and legal operations for the council.
Furthermore, the following officers from A.Y. 2025-2025 will retain their positions for A.Y. 2026 – 2027:
Chairman: Mr. Julier Samonte
Vice-chairman: Ms. Dhana Del Pradas
Secretary: Mr. Anthony Sabusap
Treasurer: Mr. Prince David
Public Information Officer: Mr. John Rei Estrella
CAHS Representative: Mr. Roner Tros Umadhay
CBA Representative: Mr. Rheiman Villamor
CCS Representative: Mr. John Paul Biasura
CEAS Representative: Mr. Lynard Jay Ebalo
CHTM Representative: Ms. Mary Yoshiko Yoneyama
Meanwhile, Ms. Nadine Ann Casamorin, formerly the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) representative, is appointed as the auditor for the upcoming academic year.
Moreover, as endorsed by their respective deans, Mr. Rheiman Villamor has been chosen to be the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) representative, while Mr. John Paul Biasura has been endorsed as the College of Computer Studies (CCS) representative.
