April 16, 2026 | Final presentation of Project METRO: Monitoring Enforcement Tracking Resource Online with DTI Zambales and Gordon College – College of Computer Studies.

Present during the final presentation are DTI3 CPD Acting Division Chief Jose Antonio Toledo, DTI Zambales CPD Division Chief Neil John M. Fabay, Gordon College CCS Dean Ronnie D. Luy, Gordon College CCS Asst Dean Armilyn T. Martinez, and Gordon College CCS Prof. Reynaldo G. Bautista. The panelist provided expert guidance and valuable insights to further refining the system.

Project METRO is intended to make market inspections and fair trade monitoring more efficient, transparent, and fully digitized. In practical terms, the system aims to help government personnel carry out inspections more systematically while improving documentation, reporting, and coordination in the field.

The use of a digital platform for inspections will also help strengthen public trust by making enforcement more transparent and easier to document. In many cases, digitized systems can support more consistent monitoring while reducing gaps in manual processes.
