LOOK | Students and personnel of Gordon College (GC) gathered earlier this afternoon, March 12, at Tapinac Oval Track as part of the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).
The earthquake drill simultaneously occurred at 3:30pm today in public and private institutions across the country to strengthen community resilience against a possible disaster.
NSED is practiced every quarter — totaling four times in a year — to establish nationwide earthquake preparedness. This is in preparation for possible earthquakes in the future including the “Big One”, a projected magnitude 7.2 earthquake predicted to hit Metro Manila and affect nearby provinces as the West Valley Fault is ripe for movement. | via Lance Isaac Leon/The FOREFRONT
