GC produces 9 new CPAs; yields 39.13% pass rate in October CPALE

Nine alumni from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) of Gordon College (GC) were among the passers of the October Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE) per Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy, on November 4.

GC garnered an overall passing rate of 39.13% from 9 passers out of 23 takers, surpassing the national passing rate of 34.02%. These constitute the 3,460 newly registered Certified Public Accountants (CPA).

Comprising this are three first-time takers and six repeater examinees.

In addition, Mike Ronnel Castro of Pampanga State University (for. Don Honorario Ventura State University) topped the examination with a 91.83% rating.

Bicol University – Daraga is the lone institution in the list of top-performing schools with 50 or more examinees with an 84.85% passing rate.
