OLONGAPO CITY—There were no laws or tax codes to memorize for them last February 21 to 26—just pure determination and strategy as the Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) students showcased their agility, teamwork, and determination, competing in CAlympics 2025.
The White Customs Brokers emerged victorious in the recently concluded sporting event. On a separate note, the Pink Declarants secured silver, followed by the Purple Importers with bronze, while the Turquoise Exporters claimed third runner-up, bringing students together for a series of sports competitions, showcasing their skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Highlighting the event was the Mr. and Ms. Calympics 2025 competition after Lourd Cedric Alejo of the Purple Importers and Jeddahlyn Buan of the Pink Declarants earned the prestigious titles.
Following the competition, the traditional “Laro ng Lahi” also brought a spirited display of teamwork and camaraderie, accompanied by a series of challenges that tested strength with intense matchups, unexpected twists, and memorable moments that celebrated the unity and competitive spirit of the participants.
Furthermore, this event was made possible through the efforts of the Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students (PSCAS) – Gordon College Chapter, under the guidance of PSCAS Adviser and Program Coordinator Ms. Patricia Anne Paras, Assistant Dean Mrs. Sherinne Angel Malong-Barrera, and the BSCA faculty, Mr. Leo Del Rosario, Mr. Michael John Miguel and Ms. Rochelle V. Nicdao. Adding prestige to the occasion was the presence of CBA OIC-Dean Mr. John Angelo Diwa, playing a key role in launching the festivities. The event also welcomed BSCA alumni, who reunited with fellow Customs Administration students.
CAlympics is held annually by PSCAS to celebrate the top-notch skills of CA students in sports.
