The event served as an educational and awareness initiative aimed at promoting the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthcare awareness in combating cervical and breast cancer within the community. It was attended by students from the College of Allied Health Studies (CAHS), along with nurses and health workers, as part of the awareness initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Olongapo (RCDO) under the leadership of Ghie Azurin, President of RCDO, the session featured a lecture and presentation by Dr. Jaime Rojo on cervical and breast cancer awareness. Meanwhile, Dr. Josefina Bustamante, Chief of Clinics of James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH), emphasized the importance of early detection, regular screening, and proper healthcare practices in preventing cervical and breast cancer. The event concluded with closing remarks from Gordon College President, Dr. Imelda DP.
