he Forefront, the official student publication of Gordon College, took home the 8th Most Outstanding Campus Newsletter and four individual awards at the 6th Assumption Outstanding Campus Press Awards (AOCPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, hosted by the University of the Assumption\u2019s Regina, took place in San Fernando, Pampanga, on February 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first semestral issue of The Forefront, Luto, was one of this year\u2019s recipients of Most Outstanding Campus Newsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the awards ceremony, the publication\u2019s Editor-in-Chief John Patrick Mateo earned the 2nd Most Outstanding Campus Journalist award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opinion-Editorial Editor Stephanie Estrella\u2019s piece, \u201cPundido ang ilaw sa susunod na kalsada\u201d, made her the 4th Most Outstanding Editorial Writer and Punto Central Luzon\u2019s Choice for Most Outstanding Editorial Writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Head of Visual Arts Maryisobelle Arcilla was named the 10th Most Outstanding Editorial Cartoonist in another Luzon-wide stint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual awards, featuring 46 publications from various regions in the north, saw The Forefront emerge as one of Luzon\u2019s best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
