The Gordon College, through its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion <\/a>Unit as the GC-GFPS Secretariat, successfully facilitated a seminar for members of the Gordon College Gender and Development Focal Point System (GC-GFPS) entitled \u201cEmpowering GFPS Members through the Application of the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines\u201d on June 13, 2025, held at the GC Library Audio-Visual Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This capacity-building initiative was organized to further strengthen the College\u2019s gender mainstreaming efforts. It aimed to equip GC-GFPS members with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively integrate gender perspectives into the institution\u2019s programs, projects, and activities. The seminar primarily focused on the application of the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG)\u2014a critical framework designed to ensure that development initiatives are gender-responsive and aligned with the overarching goals of gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
