{"id":2352,"date":"2024-10-31T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/?p=2352"},"modified":"2024-11-19T09:33:37","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T01:33:37","slug":"gc-mens-volley-team-vows-to-reclaim-tourneys-podium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/gc-mens-volley-team-vows-to-reclaim-tourneys-podium\/","title":{"rendered":"GC men\u2019s volley team vows to reclaim tourney&#8217;s podium"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LCUAA 2024 was a different story to the GC men\u2019s volleyball team\u2014\u201cMasakit sa \u2019min \u2018yong nangyari.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After sustaining two losses in bracket B, the Gordon College (GC) Warriors ran short in the men\u2019s volleyball tournament of the 13th Local Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (LCUAA) National Games at Muntinlupa City last October 20-26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a>\u201c\u2018Yong pagiging consistent sa loob ng court, ang daming lapses pagdating sa floor defense and service,\u201d said last year\u2019s Best Middle Blocker Mar Angelo De Lara on the men\u2019s challenges in their stunt in the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt saka \u2018yong eagerness and [willingness] manalo,\u201d the middle blocker added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, GC podiumed in the men\u2019s volleyball tournament after a silver finish to tick a mark for the first time in the medal tally since the institution\u2019s participation in the LCUAA National Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the 6\u20194\u201d athlete underscored that it was a bitter experience for the Warriors but also a learning one for them, \u201cHindi dapat makampante.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Warriors shared similar sentiments with other players whose armor had worn off and blades had blunted in this year\u2019s LCUAA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, the team shifts their focus to resharpening their swords and mending their lapses on the court through stricter training, eyeing a hungrier and stronger bounce back next LCUAA year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLahat naman nakukuha sa ensayo.
