{"id":409,"date":"2023-08-14T09:58:49","date_gmt":"2023-08-14T09:58:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/?page_id=409"},"modified":"2023-08-14T10:44:48","modified_gmt":"2023-08-14T10:44:48","slug":"igs-institute-of-graduate-studies-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/admission\/igs-institute-of-graduate-studies-students\/","title":{"rendered":"IGS (Institute of Graduate Studies) Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To qualify for admission to the Institute of Graduate Studies, an applicant must meet the following general and specific standards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Student must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.00 or 85% (except NSTP and PE). Student with lower general average than the prescribed rating may be admitted to the master\u2019s program on probation. While on probationary status, s\/he is allowed to carry the maximum load of only six (6) units per term. S\/he will be placed in full standing status after having obtained an average rating of 1.5 or better in the first 12 units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specific programs may have different requirement as well as additional requirements such as materials and a personal interview, to wit:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master in Public Administration\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;At least two (2) years of government\/ public service in any capacity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master in Business Management\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BS Commerce or BS Business Administration graduate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-business course graduate must finish 18 tool courses. While earning these units, s\/he may enroll any two basic\/major subjects in the MBM program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least two (2) years of relevant experience\/ service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master of Arts in Education\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Should be an education graduate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For non-education graduate, at least 24 units of professional education in the undergraduate level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least two (2) years of teaching experience\/ service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master of Arts in Nursing\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Should be a Registered Nurse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least two (2) years of experience in nursing and\/or related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pass the qualifying examination and interview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All applicants for admission must submit the following;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Original Transcript of Records from recognized colleges or universities (with remarks, \u201cCopy for Gordon College\u201d or \u201cGranted Honorable Dismissal\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two ID pictures (2\u00d72\/passport size)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate of Employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Php200.00 non-refundable fee for application processing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional materials, if required by specific program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To qualify for admission to the Institute of Graduate Studies, an applicant must meet the following general and specific standards:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":423,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-409","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/409","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=409"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/409\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":410,"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/409\/revisions\/410"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/423"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gordoncollege.edu.ph\/w3\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=409"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
