CEAS Successfully Holds First Research Forum

Awarding of Certificate of Recognition to the Guest Speaker, Dr. Roel P Anicas, together with Dr. Ediric D. Gadia (VP-RDCES & Dean of CEAS), Dr. John Mark R. Asio (CEAS-Research Coordinator) and Mr. Mark Gil Ramos (CEAS-SSC President).

The 1st College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) Research Forum 2018 was held on August 30, 2018 at the Gordon College Function Hall. Organized by CEAS, the Research Development Office, and the CEAS-Supreme Student Council, the Forum was participated by senior Education students who took up their research course during the second semester of academic year 2017-2018.

With the theme “Opportunities, Avenues and Frontiers: Research in the Educational Field,” the Forum aims to enhance the research productivity of the CEAS students with practical application in education and other areas of concern, to promote and boost the confidence and personality of students in research presentation and gain experience, to encourage the culture of research and its implication to the community and the society, and to provide opportunity to students to have their research work presented in a systematic manner.

To further enhance the research capability of the students and to motivate them to indulge into the scheme of knowledge sharing, a lecture was delivered by the concurrent Dean of the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research Director of Gordon College, Dr. Roel P Anicas. After the lecture, an open forum followed and several questions were raised by the audience and was enthusiastically answered by the guest speaker.

After the lecture, the parallel sessions followed. The following researches with their corresponding authors and advisers emerged as the winners of Best Oral Presentation:
